"Custom built Abaco 24"
If you are looking for something a little different and unique, then this custom built Abaco 24 is the boat for you!
Offering the combination of being a very capable, modern boat, with some traditional styling, this Abaco 24 has interesting provenance. The boat was commissioned for build in 2018 by the first owner, at the world leading Boat Building Academy.
Starting off with the original Abaco 24 blue prints, the owner then commissioned an industry leading Naval Architect to convert the drawings to CAD design, while at the same time taking the opportunity to modernise the boat design, which included some custom features, and also improvement to the structural strength, to allow for a larger outboard engine.
No expense was spared with this hand built boat, which is constructed from hard wood framing and a resin injected foam core hull, with a fibreglass skin.
The boat was then beautifully styled with the topsides finished in solid Iroko wood.
Being equally at home on the sea or inland water ways, this custom Abaco 24 offers different options for use, and so represents a great investment for the next owner.
