Brenda is the longest-serving member of the Compass Boat Sales team and a familiar face to many in the marina community. Having lived at Hythe Marina for over 20 years, she brings invaluable local knowledge and a friendly, welcoming presence to every client interaction.

Matthew brings decades of hands-on sailing experience across coastal and offshore waters. With a background in yacht instruction, boat ownership and passage making, he offers practical insight and calm guidance to buyers and sellers alike. His focus is always on matching people with the right boat and ensuring every step feels clear and confident.

Chris Clayton

Chris has many years of experience in the marine industry ranging from boatyard service and maintenance, yacht brokerage and boat manufacturing. He has been a regular attendee at many boat shows over the years from Southampton and London to Jersey, Dusseldorf, Paris and Amsterdam METS. Chris is based on the Isle of Wight and his commitment to the marine community includes having served a 3-year term in British Marine representing the island.
